There’s something about spring, isn’t there?
Even after all these years, it still gets me.
The light changes. The air softens. The days stretch out just a little longer. And suddenly, without asking our permission, the world starts again.
Trees bud.
Flowers push through.
The heaviness of winter begins to lift.
And whether we realize it or not, something in us wants to rise too.
Spring is the season of renewal.
Of rebirth.
Of regeneration.
Of remembering that just because something has felt dormant does not mean it’s dead.
Let me say that again, because I think some of us need to hear it:
Just because a part of you has felt quiet, tired, disconnected, or buried under the weight of life… does not mean it’s gone.
It may simply be waiting for the right season.
And maybe that’s what this week is.
A turning point.
A deep exhale.
A gentle invitation back to yourself.
Not to become a whole new person overnight.
Not to “glow up” by Monday.
Not to suddenly color-code your pantry, start meditating at 5 a.m., drink celery juice, and become the woman who has her life together by Tuesday. Let’s be realistic.
But to begin again.
Honestly.
Intentionally.
Tenderly.
Because that is what spring teaches us.
Nature does not rush.
It does not shame itself for what didn’t bloom in winter.
It does not panic because growth looks messy at first.
It simply begins.
And so can you.
If this season is stirring something in you, here are 3 things you can do now to honor your own rebirth and regeneration:
1. Clear one thing that is crowding your energy
Spring cleaning is not just for closets.
Sometimes the most powerful reset is clearing one thing that has been quietly draining you.
A pile.
A commitment.
A habit.
A relationship dynamic.
A thought pattern.
A calendar that has become a hostage situation.
You do not need to overhaul your whole life this weekend.
Just choose one thing that feels heavy, stale, or overdue, and release it.
Spring reminds us that growth needs space.
2. Ask yourself: what wants to come alive in me now?
This is one of my favorite questions for a new season.
Not what should come alive.
Not what looks good on paper.
Not what everyone else seems to be doing on Instagram while making sourdough and becoming their “best self.”
But truly:
What wants to come alive in me now?
More creativity?
More rest?
More courage?
More structure?
More joy?
More truth?
More you?
Spring is an awakening.
But awakenings require honesty.
Sit with the question.
Journal on it.
Walk with it.
Let the answer rise instead of forcing it.
3. Create one small ritual that signals a fresh start
Transformation is not built in giant declarations.
It is built in the small, repeated acts that tell your nervous system, your mind, and your life: we are entering a new season now.
That ritual could be:
- opening the windows every morning
- taking a 10-minute walk in daylight
- writing down your top 3 priorities before touching your phone
- making your coffee and sitting with yourself for 5 minutes before the day begins
- choosing one nourishing “yes” and one liberating “no” each week
It does not have to be dramatic to be meaningful.
Small rituals are how we root change into real life.
Here’s what I know:
So many women are not in need of becoming more.
They are in need of coming back.
Back to themselves.
Back to clarity.
Back to what matters.
Back to the version of themselves that feels grounded, alive, and whole.
And that, to me, is the real magic of spring.
Not pressure.
Not performance.
Not perfection.
Permission.
Permission to reset.
Permission to soften.
Permission to begin again.
Permission to believe that this next season of your life can feel lighter, truer, and more aligned than the one before it.
So as we step into spring this Friday, I hope you let it mean something.
I hope you open the window.
I hope you shake off what has felt heavy.
I hope you make room for what is ready to bloom.
And I hope you remember that renewal is not selfish.
It is sacred.
Your life is always speaking to you.
Maybe this is the season you finally listen.
Warmly,
Erica
