Last week I had the chance to interview Dr. Chris Lee – neuroscientist and mental…

I wanted to make it easier for people to design and create their own reality. There’s a lot of talk about making your dreams come true, but as glorious as this idea is, I personally didn’t feel there were enough examples of women who’ve actually done it. After many battles with my inner critic, I decided it was time for me to take a stand and take the next step in my entrepreneurial journey.
I recently reconnected with a childhood friend, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, who is as dynamic, passionate and capable as they come. If you are Canadian, you undoubtedly know who she is. Today, we are getting up close and personal with Sophie Grégoire Trudeau. Enjoy…
“Four years ago, I sat at my desk overlooking the Manhattan skyline from the 25th floor of 3 Times Square. I was in my mid-twenties, earning a six-figure salary at Bain & Company, which has now been rated the #1 global consulting firm by Consulting Magazine for 11 years straight. I looked down at the drafted email on my desktop, took a deep breath, and pressed send. The email notified more than 400 coworkers and friends that I was leaving what I’d previously believed was my dream job to pursue the non-profit I had founded, Pencils of Promise (PoP).
I recently sat down with jazz pop sensation Nikki Yanofsky, and what I discovered was a cool, bright, articulate and grounded young woman who knows what she wants, is doing what she loves, and is chasing her passion with fierce determination. This ain’t no woman on the fence! She’s a natural born singer, and we get a little taste of that in this interview. And yes, I got her to sing for us!
Here is the full Global TV interview, so if you enjoy Nikki Yanofsky, there’re lots of Nikki here to enjoy.
With Mother’s Day on Sunday, I decided to spotlight a multi-taking, working mom this year who is also a long distance friend. Brooke Burke, Host of Dancing With The Stars and Co-CEO of ModernMom.com was an early supporter of my writing, my book and me. She has given me her unwaivering support, and therefore today I’m thrilled to give you our interview, as well as a great Mother’s Day giveaway! Brooke is rocking motherhood, marriage and a career, so let’s find out how she does it…
I spent the afternoon in New York last week with long distance friend, mom and actress Denise Richards. We chatted over tea and I decided to ask her some questions and find out what it’s like to be a single, working mom in the spotlight.
Denise was candid, honest and sincere about her life. I give you our interview…
I was watching 20/20 about three weeks ago, and saw the familiar, smiley face that is Kristen Johnston. But, it wasn’t such a smiley interview. It was deep, and it was dark. I was mesmerized. Her story was riveting. I chased her down until I found her, and am thrilled to feature her today on WomenOnTheFence.com.
I give you, actress, author, and activist, Kristen Johnston.
When I met Soledad O’Brien for the first time in August at Blogher, in New York City, I was truly intrigued. She is the CNN anchor we watch daily cover hurricanes, disasters, and important news. Yet, when you speak to her in person, she has this other side. This aura to her. A sweet, fun-loving, and exceptionally charming side. To top it off- she’s a mom of four children. I loved her essence, and so I asked her for an interview. Her response, “I will never forget Women On The Fence. You have my word, I will give you an interview.”
I help busy women (like you!) prioritize self-care so you can experience less stress, more calm and greater joy every day!
