There’s a shift happening in wellness travel, and I think it’s an important one.
For years, the idea of a wellness retreat often brought to mind a beautiful destination, yoga at sunrise, green juice, spa treatments, and a few days to unplug. And while all of that can absolutely be restorative, many women today are craving something more.
They’re not just looking to escape their lives for a weekend. They’re looking to return to their lives differently.
And that, to me, is where the new era of strategic wellness retreats comes in.
As a life and career coach, keynote speaker, and someone who personally lived through a near-burnout more than 20 years ago, I’ve seen firsthand that women are no longer satisfied with surface-level self-care. We want restoration, yes. But we also want clarity. We want insight. We want a reset that actually changes something.
We want to feel better, think better, and live better when we go home.
That is why strategic wellness retreats are resonating so deeply right now.
These retreats are not about checking out. They are about checking back in.
They create space to pause long enough to hear yourself again. To step away from the noise, the pressure, the mental load, the endless tabs open in your brain, and ask some important questions:
What is no longer working?
What do I need more of?
What needs to shift?
Where am I exhausted, overextended, or out of alignment?
And what would it look like to move forward with more intention?
I think that’s what so many women are truly hungry for right now.
Not just rest, but meaningful recalibration.
Not just a break from responsibility, but a chance to reconnect with themselves.
Not just beautiful surroundings, but practical tools they can actually bring home and integrate into daily life.
Because the truth is, most women do not need another inspirational quote or another reminder to “take better care of themselves.” They need real support. Real reflection. Real strategy. They need space to breathe, step back, gain perspective, and make decisions from clarity rather than overwhelm.
That is exactly why I created the Reset & Thrive Retreat, taking place October 15 to 18, 2026, at Canyon Ranch Lenox.

I created this retreat for women who are busy in their full lives and ready for more ease, more clarity, and more alignment in the way they live and lead. Women who are doing a lot, carrying a lot for everyone else, and are ready to reset in a deeper, more intentional way.
Of course, the setting matters.
That’s why I chose Canyon Ranch very intentionally. Years ago, I was invited to attend a Dove wellness retreat there, and it truly changed my life. It gave me the kind of pause, perspective, and reset that stayed with me long after I returned home. I remember leaving with the quiet knowing that one day, I wanted to bring my own community back there for an experience that could be just as meaningful and transformative.

That time is now.
Canyon Ranch Lenox is a world-class wellness destination, and that experience is part of what makes this retreat so special. Guests will enjoy luxury accommodations, incredible amenities, nourishing food, access to fitness and wellness programming, and $200 per day in spa credits, all of which allows for true restoration and care.

But what makes this retreat different is that it does not stop at rest.
This is where holistic meets strategic.
Throughout the retreat, I’ll be guiding women through meaningful conversations and coaching experiences designed to help them get honest about what is draining them, reconnect to what matters most, and begin building a more sustainable way forward.
We’ll talk about self-care in the real sense of the word. Not as indulgence, but as infrastructure.
We’ll explore mindset, time, boundaries, energy, and the patterns that keep so many high-performing women stuck in cycles of overgiving and under-receiving.
My goal is for women to leave feeling renewed, yes, but also clearer. Lighter. More grounded. More decisive. More connected to themselves and their next chapter.
Because to me, the best retreats do not just make you feel good while you’re there. They create a ripple effect that continues long after you’ve unpacked your suitcase.
That’s the power of a strategic wellness retreat.
It’s not about escaping your life. It’s about returning to it with a clearer mind, a calmer nervous system, stronger boundaries, and a renewed sense of who you are and how you want to live.
And I think that’s why this model is resonating now more than ever.
Women are no longer waiting until they completely fall apart to prioritize themselves. They are becoming more discerning. More proactive. More honest about the cost of running on empty.
They are realizing that wellness is not a luxury. A life tool. A sustainability tool.
And when travel can offer both deep restoration and practical transformation, that becomes a very powerful investment.
That is the invitation behind Reset & Thrive.
Not just to get away, but to come home to yourself.
