Hi Ladies,
Happy Friday! For today’s Blog, I wanted to keep you updated on a few nice things that have happened this week. Yesterday was a big day. I finally finished the book! I was sitting at Second Cup cafe, I clicked “save,” closed the file, and actually got teary eyed when it was all done. It felt like giving birth all over again. That sense of accomplishment you feel when it’s all over. All 11 chapters, with their 9 key points per chapter (hence 99 points). I still have the book’s introduction to write, and of course, my thank you page. It feels surreal. I guess timing is everything in life, and I just couldn’t pass up this incredible opportunity. It’s been full days, not leaving the house (or cafe), no gym, and I’ve been working my ass off. But it feels great, and I’m not complaining.
I also wanted to share with you that I have been officially chosen by ABC’s The View (Yes as in Barbara Walters, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Joy Behar, Whoopi Golderg and Sherri Shepherd) to be an Ambassador for the show, to represent the Mom community. I was honored that they believed in me and chose me, considering my voice is very new to the mom community. It’s exciting. You girls know how I love all things women and talk related. It’s gonna be fun. I’ll keep you posted along the way on how it goes. So if you have any suggestions for guests you’d love to see on the show, come to MOI! Ha ha. For real!
Next week, my boys will be on Winter break and we will be going to the cottage for a week of skiing and family fun. I will be checking in from there, but considering all the work lately, and trying to finalize stuff with my editor, plus spending time with my men, please cut me some slack for next week. Family first. Always. All should return to normal in a couple of weeks. Hopefully!!
So ladies, if you’re just joining me now, or if you’ve been with me since the beginning (Holla to my Montreal girlfriends), I just want to say thank you. Thank you for allowing me to truly fulfill my passion and live my dream. You inspire me. The incredible things that have happened in such a short time, simply because you come and visit, perhaps for a dose of inspiration, perhaps because you feel lost at times, perhaps to be a little voyeuristic into someone else’s life. Regardless of your reasoning for coming, thank you. You’ve allowed me to unlock my passion. And it feels incredible. I urge you to do the same.
Happy Friday. Enjoy the weekend. I’ll be back next week.

Yay for The View Moms. I look forward to meeting and discussing the show with everyone. I be we can even come up with some hot topics of our own.
Congratulations! The show has been through many incarnations but the one consistency has been the ability of the women to get other women talking. I look forward to hearing your voice and adding my own to the discussion.
