The Dark Side of Friendship

Perhaps you are on the fence about what to do with that toxic friend. Whether you’ve been friends for many years and you’re done taking their crap, or they are a new friend that just sucks you dry, here are the six types of toxic friends that exist according to author Dr. Jan Yager, author of When Friendship Hurts, and what you can do about them.

A Tale of Travel

Yesterday we flew home, and amidst some chaos, all I did was laugh the whole way through. That’s because one of my New Year’s resolutions was to not sweat the small stuff too much. My husband was sweating, but not I! I was taking it all in stride. Our day went something like this…

My whole inbox has been flooded with emails about keeping new year’s resolutions, sticking to the plan, and Oprah’s 21 Day Mind Cleanse. I have to tell you ladies, I’m just not there yet. If Worrying Were An Olympic Sport, I’d Get The Gold For Sure

Ladies, do you worry? Do you toss and turn at night unable to rest your mind? Do you bite your nails? Do you experience muscle tension? Are you absent minded or have a short attention span? These are all signs of worry. Seriously, with the way 2009 went for most people, it wouldn’t be off the wall if you experienced any to all of these. Or, perhaps you worry about what other people think about you, or if you’ve put on a few pounds. Worry comes in many different forms. But the question is, what are you going to do about your worrying? Chronic worry or anxiety take a very negative toll on your mind and body.

It’s time to work smarter not harder, end procrastination and own your day… every day!
