We spend a lot of time worrying, stressing over, and trying to change things we can’t control- the weather, traffic, the future, the past, other people’s thoughts, our child’s happiness, our partner’s behavior.
Instead, I have learned to focus on what I CAN control in order live in more harmony, abundance and peace- that includes how I speak to myself, my morning and bedtime routine, what I eat, how often I move my body, my self-care habits, my mindset, how efficient I am with my time, how resilient I am after I fail.
When you stop trying to change what you have no control over, and start focusing on what you can, the world opens up for you.
There’s still plenty of summer left – try not to let yourself be robbed of the joyful moments. We must be selective with what we allow ourselves to “stress” over.
