People often ask me, if I am not prioritizing my self-care, and I feel like sh*t right now, what are three things I can do to start feeling better?

And guess what?

They’re really quite simple.

1. Walking

Walking is a simple yet profound act that holds the power to transform both our bodies and minds. In a world that often races forward, taking the time to walk allows us to truly connect with the world around us. Beyond its physical benefits such as enhancing your body’s circulation, improving bone strength, and fostering a more resilient immune system, walking is a voyage of self-discovery, a path to clarity and inspiration.

These moments of quiet contemplation reveal insights we might have otherwise overlooked. As we walk, we pave the way to better health, improved focus, and a heightened sense of well-being.

2. Water

Water’s importance cannot be overstated. By embracing hydration, we give our bodies a myriad of benefits– clearer skin, sharper focus, and improved digestion are but a few of water’s gifts.

Through hydration with water, we support our organs, lubricate our joints and foster a radiant vitality for our skin. I like to aim for the simple rule of 8 x 8 – 8 glasses of 8 oz. of water.

3. Sleeping

The importance of sleep lies not only in its ability to restore our physical vitality, but also in its power to mend our thoughts and emotions.

As we surrender to sleep at night, we pave a path to mental clarity, creativity, and emotional resilience. Through restorative sleep, we find the strength to rise anew in the morning.

The recommended amount of sleep for the average adult is typically around 7 to 9 hours per night. However, individual sleep needs can vary based on factors such as age, genetics, lifestyle, and overall health. Some people might feel well-rested and alert with slightly less than 7 hours of sleep, while others may require more than 9 hours to function optimally. It’s important to pay attention to your own body’s signals and adjust your sleep duration accordingly.

If you struggle with sleep, BLISS ESSENTIAL’s SLEEP EASY, is a beautiful holistic and powerful sleep aid with ZERO fillers or chemicals.

Pay close attention to these 3 things over the next 4-6 weeks, and I dare you to tell me you’re not feeling better.
