NO BARRIERS—JUST RESULTS
Calling all MomPreneurs, Women In Business, Small Business Owners!!!
Tired of wondering where your next client or customer is going to come from—or staying up all night because this brilliant business idea of yours just won’t go away? Whether you’re sick of doing all you know to do to make your business profitable (and still coming up short) or just tired of WAITING to (finally) take the leap, you’ve got to meet Tory Johnson (www.toryjohnson.com).
Today Tory is the weekly Good Morning America (http://abcnews.go.com/gma/jobclub) workplace contributor, a New York Times best-selling author, and a millionaire business owner, but she hasn’t always been. Far from it, in fact.
After being coldly fired from her dream job, Tory set out to build Women For Hire (http://womenforhire.com)—a company that now has a solid presence across the nation. No deep pockets. No family connections. No special education. Just a “do-or-die” need to replace her income to support her family—fast. Now, she’s stretching her entrepreneurial muscle to help others do exactly the same.
With the all-new Spark & Hustle National Tour (http://sparkandhustle.com), Tory’s goal is simple: Provide current and aspiring small business owners with the practical strategies, real-world solutions and support that’s absolutely critical to their success. Her mission: To help YOU create the shortest possible path between your passion and the profit you seek. Our economy is in a state of unprecedented change, which has impacted businesses of all sizes and in all industries. The Spark & Hustle National Tour promises to embrace that reality by giving you ONLY those business building strategies that are proven to (still) work today, and to offer you access ONLY to those experts who are currently in the DO-ing of their business, not simply the TEACHing of their business. We’ll teach you how to avoid business errors that can have a devastating impact on your bottom-line, how to (quickly) identify and leverage new opportunities, how to solve challenges inherent in a recessionary economy and how to strengthen your packaging, pricing, and promotional efforts for income increase!
The truth is that there is MORE (not less) opportunity for the self-employed than ever before. You just need the right information, strategies, examples, and game plans to create this success for yourself. Bottom line: These events are all about RESULTS. No selling from the stage. No gimmicks. No fluff. Just the only results that matter: YOURS. So, if you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and hustle, this is one conference you – literally – can’t afford to miss!

I look forward to finding employment in order to help with our family’s private school tuition burden. In order to do that I intend to find something that will preserve my family’s integrity, rhythm and closeness. But, my kids are practically grown and I have renewed flexibility and purpose. Not sure if I want to start my own business or work for a company (if I find work!). It’s been a while and I have much to learn about independent women in the workforce – no matter who they work for. So 3 goals…1. Focus 2. Action 3. Fulfillment.
A few of my 2011 goals…
1 – To take two full weeks off in July
2 – To not work any weekends
3 – To complete my first book
I’m sleep deprived these days from staying up late dreaming about starting my own business. For 2011 my goals are:
1) Read 99 Things Women Wish They Knew Before… Starting Their Own Business!
2) Gather resources, tools and research.
3) Write a business plan.
1) Take my business from 500,000.00 a year sales to $1,000,000
2) Figure out how to make my family life fit in with my business (more of a personal/professional goal)
3) Attend more networking events – more “in real life” conferences and events. In other words, get out of my office more.
I hope to create work that will enable me to stay at home much of the time with my 3-year old. I want to write, I want to dance and I want to blog. These three, in this order:
1. write and get published
2. keep teaching and dancing and add a 2nd class
3. start blogging and keep it real
Cheers to you, Erica! You’re such an inspiration.
3 goals:
1) make my ‘new’ business ‘official’ i.e. business name, incorporate or LLC, seperate bank account, etc. (have actually been working for myself for 7 years now but just using my personal name)
2) decide whether to only maintain my current # of customers but do so in a more time-efficient manner, or to get all the business potentially available and hire an assistant. (this is a NEW goal after meeting last year’s goal of getting enough business that i would have to make this decision!)
3) repair and rebuild my personal credit (20 years of basically single parenting on a single income at former
J-O-B {Journey Of the Broke} + bad decisions = a freaking mess)
Happy to have found you on Twitter!

Glad to be among you, women of passion and excellence! My goals for 2011…
1 – Grow my company income to $500,000, and maintian a profit margin of at least 40%
2 – Hit ‘50,000 copies sold’ of my new book ‘The 6 Reasons You’ll Get the Job’ (foreword by Richard Bolles, ‘What Color is Your Parachute?’) — already 30% there!
3 – Become better known nationally as the go-to girl for all things employment and careers, especially for people making tough career transitions — No One Is Unemployable!
4 – Be healthier and fitter than I have been in the last 10 years (3 kids ago, ha!)
I wish you all great joy & success as you pursue your dreams and be of service this year.

Just found this wonderfully motivating website! Thank you, I only wish I had found it sooner.
My top three professional goals for 2011:
1) to not lose the powerful motivation and progressive roll I am on for starting my dream business
2) to accomplish every thing I envision this business will be
3) to find a way to attend this and other professional and motivational seminars to get the guidance I need to make it great!
