Change… The Only Constant

Good Day. I want to first start off by saying that I hope you are staying safe and well. These times are extremely challenging.

I have been reading some great articles lately (hey, we’ve got nothing but time). I am also taking an online Yale course too – you know, the ‘nothing but time,’  blessing, right? But back to the articles I have been reading. They speak to point that if you don’t take this COVID-19 time to:

Learn a new language
Marie Kondo your space
Work on your side hustle
Learn how to meditate
Create a new craft
Grow a vegetable garden
then you’re not using your time wisely.

I call bullshit (and I’m in the space of self-improvement and wellness).

Oprah in Montreal: My AHA Moments and Life Lessons From A Path Made Clear Tour

Sunday night on Father’s Day, I had a magical evening with mom and Oprah.

I had so many AHA Moments and lessons learned from Oprah’s Path Made Clear tour here in Montreal, and I’m so glad Global TV let me share those insights on TV this morning.

Confession: I am an Oprah groupie! I totally am. Whatever she’s sellin’, I’m buyin’! I’ve seen her speak five times, I’ve met her, I’ve been on five episodes of OWN TV, and she continues to impact and influence me and my career.

21 Ways To Spring Clean Your Mind, Body and Life

Whenever March rolls around (my husband’s birthday), and then into April (my birthday this weekend), I always know it’s time for me to take stock of my life. It’s the time I start sweeping out the cobwebs; literally and figuratively. Winter’s snow melts away, and all the things you have been ignoring in your life, start to present themselves again. Aaah, I forgot about you! Spring is a great time to deal with these things head-on.  And that’s not a bad thing– spring is about rebirth, renewal, regeneration.

If you’re like most of the population who have been walking around not living at your optimum, there’s no better time than now, springtime, to internally and externally cleanse and rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit. With the fast-paced society we live in, we even eat fast too – fast food, canned foods, processed foods. Why? It’s easy and quick. Why buy fresh corn on the cob and waste time boiling it, when you can just pop open a can of corn and serve it no time? Right? Wrong! And I will tell you, that although you may not see immediate results in treating your mind and body well, the long term results are astounding.

What dust-balls are lurking in the corner in your life?? Time to clean up, ladies!
