Spring is coming, my friend! We are just over 48 hours away.
Spring isn’t just about decluttering our closets—it’s about clearing out the mental and emotional clutter that weigh us down. Just as we open the windows to let the fresh air in, we should also take this time of year to reset our habits, mindset, and space. Spring is nature’s way of reminding us that renewal is possible. So let’s embrace it!
Here’s how you can spring clean your life and step into a new season of clarity, energy, and joy.
1. Declutter Your Mind: The Power of Mental Clarity
Did you know that we have approximately 60,000 thoughts per day? And get this… studies show that about 80% of those thoughts are negative, and 95% are repetitive from the previous day! That means we’re running the same worries and doubts over and over like a bad Spotify playlist. It’s time to switch tracks!
Try this: Each morning, do a ‘thought dump’ or ‘brain dump’ in a journal. Write down all the worries, anxieties, and to-dos on your mind. Then, challenge yourself to let go of what’s out of your control. Practicing mindfulness or meditation for even five minutes can also help clear mental clutter and make space for more creativity and joy.
2. Clean Up Your Schedule: Audit Your Time
Do you feel like there’s never enough time in the day? That’s often a sign that your schedule needs a reset. Time is your most valuable currency—spend it wisely.
Try this: For one week, track how you spend your time. Highlight activities that drain your energy versus those that recharge you. Then, do a time edit. Set boundaries around time-wasters (goodbye, endless social media scrolling!) and prioritize the activities that align with your goals and well-being. And if time management is something you want to work on this spring, take my free 60-minute workshop, CLOCKWISE: How To Work Smarter Not Harder, End Procrastination and Own Your Day! An hour of your time very well spent for your future self.

3. Detox Your Relationships: Surround Yourself with Energy-Givers
We all have those people in our lives who lift us up—and those who leave us emotionally drained. Relationships should feel like a two-way street, not a one-sided energy suck.
Try this: Take inventory of your relationships. Are there friendships or commitments that feel forced or exhausting? It’s okay to set boundaries and step back from relationships that no longer serve your well-being. Instead, nurture connections that bring you joy, support, and laughter.
4. Refresh Your Digital Life: A Tech Cleanse
Your phone and laptop might be full of digital clutter, from unread emails to apps you haven’t touched in months. Time to clean it up! A cluttered digital space can subconsciously add stress to your daily life.
Try this: Unsubscribe from emails that don’t add value or that you don’t read anymore, organize your digital files, and set screen-time limits. Consider a weekly ‘tech-free hour’ to fully unplug and recharge your mental battery.

5. Revitalize Your Body: Move, Nourish, and Rest
Your body is your home—treat it with the same love and care you give your living space. With the longer daylight hours, now is the perfect time to recommit to movement, healthy eating, and rest.
Try this: Move your body every day, whether it’s a 10-minute walk, yoga, or a dance party in your kitchen. Hydrate like it’s your full-time job. And prioritize sleep—spring cleaning your life means ditching the late-night Netflix binge that leaves you groggy the next morning. And speaking of sleep– if you’re wondering how you’re doing in the department, take my sleep quiz to see how healthy your bedtime routine is.
6. Set New Intentions: A Fresh Start
Spring is a season of growth. What seeds do you want to plant in your life? What dreams or habits have been sitting on the back burner? Now is the perfect time to nurture them with intention. Small, consistent actions can lead to beautiful transformations.
Try this: Set one fresh intention for the next three months. Maybe it’s launching that project you’ve been procrastinating on or practicing gratitude daily. Write it down, say it out loud, and commit to small daily actions that bring it to life.
Spring Clean Your Life!
Spring cleaning isn’t just about dusting off shelves—it’s about dusting off old patterns, thoughts, and habits that no longer serve you. Let’s embrace this season as a chance to refresh your mind, body, and soul. Let go of the excess and make space for what truly matters most.
Because you, my friend, deserve a life that feels light, joyful, and aligned.
Now tell me, what’s the first thing you’re going to spring clean in your life?
