In honour of International Women’s Day Week & Women’s History Month, I shared Why Self-Care is Essential for Women Everywhere!
So, why DO so many women still struggle to prioritize self-care?
- We’re natural caregivers—putting everyone else ahead of ourselves.
- We feel guilty, as if self-care is indulgent rather than essential.
- We live in a ‘hustle culture’ that glorifies burnout.
But here’s the truth: We can’t afford NOT to make time for self-care. Chronic stress leads to burnout, anxiety, and even serious health issues. We can’t pour from an empty cup!
