Happy #WorldMeditationDay! Alright, let’s get to it. I am sharing a lot of information with you today, but my hopes are that you absorb some of it. It is about the effects…
I have been asking this exact question to my clients a lot these days. It’s eye opening. I’d like to invite you to grab your favorite beverage, a journal and pen, and…
Mornings are not easy. Doesn’t it make you wonder why those people in the coffee commercials are always ecstatic to roll out of bed, open their window drapes, and start the daily grind? It’s almost like the sun is smiling back at them. I’m a mom of two little angels and now that I’m months away from having my third child, I admit, mornings but can tough. But more than just a perfect cup of coffee, there are tons of morning habits you can do to start AND end your day right.
So let’s get right to it, shall we?
Setting boundaries is self-care. Oh yes it it. A little psych 101: If you grew up in an abusive home, or neglected home, or with narcissistic parents, or where value was placed…
Let’s stop saying that self-care is just massages and bubble baths.
Self-care is the foundation to your thriving personally and professionally. Burning out ain’t fun. Trust me, I’ve almost been there.
So, what actually is self-care?
Definition of self-care (noun)– “the practice of taking an active role in protecting and taking responsibility for one’s own well-being and happiness, in particular during periods of stress.”
Happy Mindset Monday!
My coaching practice has been pretty full these days and I’m seeing a theme. Many of my clients are feeling tired, depleted, overwhelmed, and anxious from living through the ups and downs of the past two years.

Then I met my husband and from the time we started dating until the time we divorced, I allowed myself to make decisions that were NOT in the best interest of myself, nor my family.
It’s finally April this week! That means spring is here! After a long and freezing winter, still in a global pandemic, I think we’re all ready for a little sunshine.
I love spring. Don’t you just love putting on your brighter colored clothing and wearing heels instead of winter boots? I know I’m ready.
I feel the exact same way about home décor! We spend the winter months sitting on the couch and always seem to have cozy blankets close by. These blankets, as well as other home accessories tend be darker colored and more subdued in their feel. Spring is the time to freshen your home and add some color! It is the ultimate act of self-love and self-care when you can create a home that creates joy. These changes don’t have to cost you an arm and a leg. There are many things you can do to refresh your space on a budget.
Happy Spring Equinox. Much like our closets and drawers get cluttered and disorganized over time, so do our minds. Our cluttered spaces are often a representation of our cluttered minds. Setting intentions…
