Many of us allow our self-worth be contingent upon external factors and events.

We don’t do this intentionally, but it can happen.

We land the job. We feel worthy!

We bomb the presentation. We feel small.

Here’s the thing about all of this… when our self-worth depends solely on external situations, our lives become unstable. Our mood fluctuates (often daily) based on how others treat or perceive us. And as a result, our self-esteem ends up being placed in the palm of someone else’s hands.

This, my friend, hands our power over to the other guy.

We don’t want this for ourselves in 2023, right?

We have to recognize our worth this year. It’s one helluva process, but it’s a journey that will lead you to freedom.

You are valuable.

You are worthy.

A good place to start? Focus on your strengths. Make a list of them. Regularly playing to your strengths instead of focusing on your weaknesses can help you feel empowered.

Happy day,
