Happy Spring Equinox! Today, the first day of spring, is a special day- there are approximately 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of night, therefore equal amounts of both! Today symbolizes growth and new beginnings.

As a certified life coach, yoga & meditation teacher, Busy To Bliss program teacher, Global TV correspondent, and founder of the wellness brand Bliss Essential, I speak A LOT about morning routines. Why?

Because even if you’re a night owl and better at night, we all wake up together in the morning. And so your morning sets the stage for your entire day.

Your mornings should be sacred. And protected.

I am protective of my mornings- like I am of my children. Especially during spring as I start to really evolve with my routines.

I wanted to share a morning routine that I follow. It’s based on Hal Elrod’s Miracle Morning.

The concept? “The Miracle Morning: The secret routine guaranteed to transform your life before 8am.”

I have been subscribing to this lifestyle since I’m 20 years old and I’ll tell you, IT WORKS.

Hal so eloquently gives us the perfect acronym: S.A.V.E.R.S. This before 8am morning routine is LIFE CHANGING.

You’re going to want to bookmark this blog post, practice it, and share it with your loved ones so that they can change their lives as well.

I have given you some resources as well.

How to Have a Miracle Morning:

The Life S.A.V.E.R.S:

Silence – prayer, meditation, breathe, reflect, sit and enjoy the peaceful quiet time. This is your chance to sit in stillness and allow the beautiful morning calm to wash over your body. For a beautiful 10-minute guided morning meditation for calm, try this.

Affirmations – repeat self-affirmations that are positive and empowering. “I am in charge of how I feel today and I am choosing happiness.” Some more affirmations: “I am evolving every day,” “I add value to this world,” “I can manifest my goals and dreams into reality.”

Visualization – close your eyes and imagine in vivid detail how your perfect day will unfold today. Feel free to roam and take your visualizations even further- what would it look like if your dream life was already realized?

Exercise – get your body moving to kickstart your day and your metabolism, boost your energy & well-being. Try my 10 minute yoga flow for vitality and energy.

Read – read something that inspires you. Personal development, spiritual, motivational. A few pages, to a chapter or two. Here are some great suggestions to get you started.

Scribe – or write. Journal your thoughts, refections, goals, and prayers. What are you grateful for today? Today I hope to accomplish… Today I am happy because… Or for more guidance with journaling, opt for a journal with guided prompts – how about my bestselling book, LIST YOUR GOALS JOURNAL.

Hal suggests we practice 10 minutes of each SAVER making it a full 60-minute morning routine, but you can practice as little as 1-2 minutes of each SAVER for a 6-12 minute morning routine.

Try it, my friends. Stick with it. It will change your life over time.

Happy Spring!

What SAVER will you try tomorrow morning?? Please tell me below.
