Today, we are embracing a summer back to school mindset (if you don’t have kids, this applies to you too). If you can allow yourself this gift, your body and sprit with thank you.
Here goes…
If your kids start school after labour day (or again, if you don’t have kids), allow yourself these next two weeks starting today to lower the bar at work and at home.
Yup, I’m serious.
Manage what you’ve got in the office, keep the wheels in motion, keep afloat, but see if you can delay taking on any new projects until after Labour Day.
Allow your heart and soul to be close to home while it’s still summer and while the kids are still around.
September you’ll hit the ground running. Make that your goal. And of course use my new goals journal to manifest that into being.
But for now- think present moment, not future. Think — how can I make the best out of TODAY with my job, my kids and myself?
I’m trying to pour all my love and attention into my kids before school starts. Here we are with my beloved NYC cousins Sunday night.
I might even challenge you to embrace this mindset beyond Labour Day weekend and until summer’s end September 22- which is just one month away.
Allow yourself to soak in summer while it’s here and get serious next month. Can you give yourself permission to lighten the load for the next few weeks? Will the world still turn if you do?
When things are light, that’s when our creativity comes out to play – which will make your fall even stronger.
