Unfortunately, even beautiful women like these get cheated on. The truth is, novelty wears off in any marriage. And after a while, this is still just same face you go to bed with, and wake up with every morning. So, when you feel invincible and untouchable like Tiger Woods, even this face can’t keep you from straying. It’s sad.
As a single dad who patronized his wife, loved her, cared for her and protected her from the daily insanity of life’s craziness, I thought the joys of divorce would be a great way to connect those women, who truly don’t accept, appreciate and recognize how blessed they are.
But if you would marry for money, my friends, you are not alone. A popular female survey yielded the astonishing result that one quarter of educated urban women, earning above a certain income, would marry for money.
Women are secret keepers and liars it just so happens! But what do women hide, and what do they tell?
So, truth be told, (and my friends know this all too well), I would NEVER have a third child, unless I could produce a dancing pink ballerina. With pink Burberry dresses. And pig tails. Or braids. Did I mention pink? I would NEVER get pregnant to have a third boy. This would actually necessitate my husband putting me in a loony bin. “Honey, just don’t forget to pack my Ipod!”
So yes, when we lose someone at a ripe old age, we celebrate their life and reminisce about all the wonderful memories and funny stories, but we also have the right to be sad. This is every person’s right when they lose a loved one.
In fact, we hear things like this quite often: couples divorcing after 25 and 30 years of marriage. When you ask many of them why, often they’re quick to answer, “I couldn’t break up my family. I stayed for the kids.”
So, I’m sure by now you have all heard about the David Letterman 2 million dollar sex extortion plot to cover up sexual relations with female members of his staff… hmmm… this is sounding a little “Clinton-esque.” The story goes, a few weeks ago, Letterman found a package in the backseat of his car, left by someone claiming to have information on him engaging in sexcapades with numerous female employees. Threatening to go public if the talk show host wouldn’t pay up the two mill, he was going to uncover the secret. Wow, Davey must have freaked!!
I will never betray this woman’s trust or confidence, but a girlfriend of mine a few weeks ago told me she has been “sexting” and having an emotional affair with a man for two years. Her husband and children have no clue. She says it isn’t cheating.
Secondly, after my golf game yesterday, over lunch, my girlfriends and I started chatting about husbands and cheating. The girls said, “If my husband was cheating, I wouldn’t want to know.” I blurted out, “You wouldn’t want to know?!” And no, they wouldn’t want to know. I’m not going to go into more detail, and even though I understood where they were coming from, I found this odd. Please, if anyone knows my husband is cheating on me, I WANT TO KNOW.
